Tell Congress to support this game-changing bill and help create vibrant outdoor spaces where every child can thrive (via Trust For Public Land)
The Revitalizing America’s Schoolyards Act of 2026 is a landmark bill that would invest in the transformation of asphalt and gravel schoolyards into nature-filled, welcoming spaces for learning and play—and open them to communities when school is out. This bill would do the following:
- Fund revitalized schoolyard renovations, prioritizing the communities where this is needed most, including Tribal schools;
- Boost kids’ health, learning, and access to nature;
- Increase climate resilience with more trees and shade; and
- Provide incentives to open these spaces to communities after school hours.
Bring nature back to schoolyards. Act now: Let’s show Congress there’s nationwide support for safe, revitalized schoolyards where every child can thrive.
