The Alchemical Nursery Project was formed in 2008 in Syracuse, NY as a permaculture and intentional community focus. Some of our properties include:
610 Gifford: a Forest Garden urban lot with over 20 edible perennial species.
3100 S. Salina Street: Rahma Free Health Clinic Forest Garden. 1/5th-acre urban forest garden with over 30 edible species.
713 Marcellus Street: rewilding and home of the community bicycle workshop known as the Depot.
717 Otisco Street: Bitternut Homestead, an intentional collective community with permaculture/edible landscaping.
711 Otisco Street: Commons Lot rewilding and block green space.
Our dreams and needs include volunteers, board members, working towards long-term trust ownership, stewardship, and longevity for plantings and spaces.
